Filming and video editing have been a passion of mine since I was a child. My father was the first person who encouraged me to start capturing the things that fascinated me. Over time, filming became a part of how I experience life; especially during holidays. Instead of taking photographs, I found myself reaching for the camera to record moments in motion.
It’s become a little tradition for me to make a fun, sometimes silly, video after each trip with friends. I’ve always been drawn more to movement than still images - there’s something so alive and expressive about it.
Here are just a few snippets of what I’ve created over the past few years. Most of them are lighthearted videos about my friends, myself, and the random little things that catch my eye and not displayed here. Video gives me the ability to catch moments I simply wanted to hold onto with my camera.
First Experience with a Video Essay
For the course "Argumentation in Fashion Communication" I decided to take a creative leap by producing a ten-minute video essay instead of a traditional written assignment. I wanted to explore a new format of communication and challenge myself to present academic content in a more visual and dynamic way.
This project stood out from my previous work. It was my first attempt at structuring educational content within a clear video framework. I combined voiceover narration with supporting video material to strengthen my arguments and make the ideas more accessible.
Even though the format wasn’t exactly what the professor expected, the result was enthusiastically received by the entire class. I was surprised by how natural it felt to work in this medium and I absolutely loved the process.
